Came to this location, and the staff were super friendly. They hadn't really opened due to running a little behind. They apologized for any inconvenience the wait might have caused. The chicken was really fresh and hot, it wasn't greasy like some locations I have been. Service was speedy and great. I would definitely come back to this location.

This was THE WORST fast food experience I've ever had. We ordered trough the drive thru and waited a good 5 minutes before anyone even took the order. We figured they were busy, but they had no customers inside and only 3 cars in the drive. Once we placed our order we noticed the car in front of us drove off without his food. We payed no mind to it and pulled up. The lady at the window told us our total was over $40 and we kindly told her that we had 2 meals and our total was a little less than $20. She slammed the window closed and stood there for a few minutes, opened the window back up, and with much attitude said "well then what did you order!?" We told her even though we should've drove off already. My fiancé asked her how long our food would be since we had already sat there for quite some time. She of course ignored us. She tried taking our debit card and my fiancé asked again how long it would take. She proceeded to yell in his face "ITS READY!!!" Needless to say we told her where to go and drove off without our food. I will NEVER return. I suggest going to KFC or elsewhere. Also the lady we dealt with was a lady of color who had a white birthmark on her forehead if anyone is wondering who it was.

I don't eat fast food often as I prefer local places but was in a hurry tonight. Hurry means drive through. It took a while to get my order taken but it made sense as they appeared to be short staffed. The staff member at the window was friendly and repeated my order several times to make sure it was correctly filled. I appreciate that as we all know per Joe Peci what happens at the drive through. Food was tasty and fresh so that was nice. I appreciated the staff most of all in this trip.

Popeyes, I'm demoting you down to one star, for God and Country.

In the last 60 days, I've gone through your drive-through three times, and I don't think I've ever had a more soul-crushing experience in my life.  The following things have happened in those three (attempted) visits:

    * On two out of the three attempts, I bailed (left) the drive-thru after waiting for over 20 minutes during a non-busy time of day.  Unbelievable.

    * On all three occasions, I tried to order a Po-Boy sandwich, and you were "out of bread" all three times.  WTF?!?!?!?

    * On attempt #3, you were out of large cups.

    * On attempt #2, I ordered the 5-chicken-strip meal, and I upsized the drink from a small to a large iced tea.  The person at the other end of the drive-thru speaker said, "Ok, that'll be $38.79", and she was dead serious.  Evidently that larger drink would have cost me nearly $30 more.  It's a good thing I bailed that time.

So now at this point, this stops being a Yelp review, and it turns into an open letter to Daniel Schwartz, CEO of Popeyes parent company,  Restaurant Brands International.  Dan, I know we don't know each other, and as CEO, you're understandably more focused on strategy rather than the tactical, day to day running of a single restaurant.  Nevertheless, I'd like you to hop on the private jet (presumably) and take a field trip to Carmel, Indiana.  Your mission: To conduct a corporate "hit" by firing everyone who works at the Carmel restaurant.  Involuntary termination.  A house cleaning.  Here are some suggested details:

Fly into Indianapolis International airport, under cover of darkness.  Bring your CFO and your VP of Operations with you, and make no announcements about the trip.  Beforehand, contact a local staffing agency and have them assemble (hire) a replacement crew of 8-10 employees for the Carmel store, including a new manager.  I'll even pick you up at the airport if you need a lift - if you just bring the CFO and the VP of Operations, then we can all fit in my SUV.  Regarding the existing crew at the Carmel restaurant, let's plan on paying them all six months salary, with benefits, before firing them (that's generous, I realize, but Christmas is coming up, after all).

If you do this, the way I've described, then it will finally become possible for your Carmel customers to actually ORDER and EAT the food.  You've got a great product that people crave, but it's all for nothing if incompetent store employees are holding the food hostage.

It's in your court now Dan.  What say you?

#weaientgotnomorechickensandwiches! I went to get dinner after a long day at work! No, cars in the drive thru! This should be quick. NO! Pull up to the speaker and there's a hand written sign: Drive Thru closed come inside. There are people all over the lobby. I order my food at 6:40 PM Check 290. I take a seat. Next to me is Check 268. At 7:10 PM, a worker yells from behind the counter, "We Aien't got no more Chicken Sandwiches!" We gone make the ones that's already paid! Then another worker yelled, "We not makin no mo!" We got frozen chicken in the back but it take 2 hours to thaw out! The people in line are waiting to order? Check 293 gets a refund, all she wanted was an 8 piece w/ 2 sides & some biscuits?  Check 303! Check 296! Let me go see want's going on??? Check 291 & 299 are next to me like ??? Check 290! I checked my bag for accuracy! Why Popeyes? This location is always out of food! Don't wait until the end of the day to prep frozen food!
